DGS Golf Schools - Play Golf the Fun Way!

Our goal is to promote junior golf in a relaxed environment with professional instructors while having lots of fun !

Junior golf clinics are held at Morisset Golf Club during school terms, Tuesday 4-5pm and Sunday 9:30-10:30 am. All ages are welcome and adult supervision is requested for all children under 8 years of age.

Junior Golf Membership is necessary for those attending weekly clinics and is $70 for a 12-month membership.

Each year after December the membership is applied as a Pro Rata payment system.
Weekly cost for the junior clinics is $8 per week, or an upfront payment of $60 for term 4 2008 (9 week term) incl free junior cap (valued at $9.95).

Each week juniors are given quality instruction from a PGA member.
Head Professional David Stretton, and assistant professionals David Van Raalte and Janelle Smith are actively involved in helping junior members.

Weekly activities include a combination of the following:
* Rules
* Putting
* Chipping
* Bunkers
* Long Game and on-course experience.

For those juniors who meet the criteria to gain an 18 hole handicap, tee times may be organised through the junior committee to begin playing 9 or 18 holes with an adult member to gain experience.

Junior Development Squad

The Morisset Junior Development Squad is a selection of juniors who have shown dedication and potential throughout junior clinics and members competitions. The development squad aids to ensure juniors are given the correct advice in order to improve and encourage their practice and playing routines for the future.
The Squad attends Training Sessions every second Wednesday with Head Professional David Stretton.
